Competition and Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions
1. General conditions for participation
a) The ‘Promoter’ of this competition and prize draw is KSOL, Key Stages Online, Skan House, 425 – 433 Stratford Road, Shirley, Solihull, B90 4AE.
b) This prize draw will be governed by these terms and conditions. Entrants agree that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
c) Entry criteria: The prize draw is only open to UK residents aged between 8 – 10, Year 4 and Year 5 students (at the time of entry) on assumption that by entering parents or guardians have consented. Employees and contractors (and their respective families) of Key Stages Online Ltd (including any group companies) are not eligible to enter.
d) This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated in any way with, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or any other Social Network. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
e) Participation is permitted irrespective of purchase of a product/service. No purchase necessary.
f) Only one entry per person.
g) No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
h) Use of false details will result in disqualification. The entry must be made by the parent and person entering the competition – entries sent through third parties, agencies or by automated means (such as scripts and macros) will not be accepted.
i) KSOL reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the prize draw without any prior notice.
2. Competition and prize draw details
a) To enter, simply satisfy the Entry Criteria detailed above. By posting an answer online, you will be added to the Key Stages Online Ltd database and thereby indicate your consent to receiving general communications from Key Stages Online Ltd in accordance with the Key Stages Online Ltd privacy policy from time to time, which is available at http://www.ksol.co.uk/contents/privacy.aspx.
b) Entry to the prize draw starts on 29th November 2013 at 00:01hrs and closes at 23:59hrs on 15th December 2013.
c) To enter the competition and prize draw, entrants will need to take the online quiz.
d) Entries to the prize draw will only be accepted between from the Start Date to the End Date inclusive. The winner(s) of the competition and prize draw will be notified by email or telephone within 14 days of the End Date. It is the responsibility of entrants to notify the promoter of any change of contact details. Proof of identity may be required. The promoter will have the right to disclose the name of the winner(s) and their city/town of residence.
e) The promoter shall not be responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the prize draw. The liability of the promoter shall be limited to the maximum amount permitted by law. Nothing in this condition shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of the promoter’s negligence.
f) Key Stages Online Ltd accepts no responsibility for the delivery or quality of the products and services to be provided by the promoter.
3. Prize and selection of winner
Prize (a) Four week Maths and English programme
Every eligible child who enters into the Beat The Clock challenge has the opportunity to win 1 of 68 online Maths and English courses (worth £79).
There will be 4 programmes given away per school – 2 for Year 4 students and 2 for Year 5 students.

Prize (b) Android Tablet
Every eligible child who enters into the Beat The Clock challenge will be automatically entered into a FREE Prize draw for a Android Tablet. Only one tablet is available to be won in this competition.

Prize (c) Beat The Clock certificate Every eligible child who enters the challenge will be sent a KSOL certificate which will be sent to your Childs school.
a) The winner(s) of Prize (a) will be given to the children who answer the most questions correctly in 15 minutes.
b) In the event of a tie the winner will be chosen by time of entry.
c) The winner of Prize (b) is the entrant whose entry is drawn at random out of all the valid entries received on 15th December 2013.
d) The winner(s) of the competition and Prize draw will be notified by email or telephone within 14 days of the End Date.
e) The Prize(s) should be claimed by the relevant winner within 28 days of notification. If the potential winner cannot be contacted or the Prize notification is returned or is undeliverable, such potential winner forfeits all rights to any Prize, and an alternate winner may be selected in the same manner as the original prize winner and such selection subject to same rules. An unclaimed prize may not be rewarded. The prize is non refundable and no cash alternative is offered. The online course must be registered within 28 days of notification.
f) KSOL reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of similar value should the need arise. The payment of all costs and expenses involved in claiming a Prize are the responsibility of the winner(s). Any and all applicable taxes or duties in relation to the Prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).
g) The winner may be required to participate in publicity.
h) The winner agrees that their details can be used in any KSOL publicity.
i) The winner(s) will receive the Prize. If the Prize is supplied to the promoter by a third party the Prize will be awarded to the winner(s) subject to the relevant third party’s terms and conditions (if any). The promoter does not endorse any Prize supplied by a third party nor does it endorse the third party supplier. The Prize will only be delivered to addresses within the UK. In no event shall any entrant be entitled to win more than one prize.
4. Your privacy and collection of personal data
a) Each entrant must supply the details requested on the entry form in order to submit a valid entry. By entering the prize draw, entrants grant the promoter the right to contact them regarding their entry.
b) Entrants will be asked to provide personal information including their full names, postcode, email address, Childs school and the Childs date of birth in order to take the test.
c) The prize draw will be governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Any omission to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right or remedy under these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver by the promoter of that, or any other, right or remedy.
Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions as final and binding. Entries which are not in accordance with the terms and conditions will be disqualified.
